PLAYING CONDITIONS DURING CORONAVIRUS
CONDITIONS FOR MEMBERS and VISITORS TO ACCESS THE LAWNS
NOTE: All Players use Southport Croquet Club at their own risk.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT COME to Southport Croquet Club IF YOU HAVE ANY COLD OR FLU SYMPTONS.
Croquet may be played by up to 24 players only, across 3 courts, in singles or doubles games or as organised by the session supervisor respectively, depending upon your code of choice and day of choice.
MEMBERS ARE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE (VIA THE CLUB WEBSITE) or phone.
Visitors to the Club will be required to sign a waiver and provide contact tracing details.
Bookings can be made as per the playing schedule for 9.30 am or 1.30 pm on days/times allocated for Association, Ricochet and Golf and 3.30pm Tuesday for Gateball. Other times have now been made available for “Open Play”.
Sanitise or wash hands at least 20 seconds before commencing play, and before leaving.
MAINTAIN DISTANCE of at LEAST 1.5 Metres from all other persons, at all times.
Players are requested to bring their own water, and to use their own drinking vessels.
Any players wishing to use a club mallet must sanitise handle when finished.
Players are not to touch other players equipment.
Do not enter the clubhouse unless absolutely necessary. There is to be no socializing within the club, i.e. sitting, making tea/coffee etc.
On completion of games or time period, leave the premises once finished – no congregating before or after games.
Last players each day: Remove hoops with disposable gloves and put away. Spray balls, clips and wipe dry with paper towel before returning to storage boxes. Gateball balls, gates and equipment to be sprayed and wiped down.
