TURNING BACK THE CLOCK
A Garden tea party complete with Pims and cucumber sandwiches was enjoyed by many on Sunday. With many presenting in their finest croquet outfits, present and past Southport members together with players from other Qld and NSW clubs relaxed for a day of fun, friendship and feasting. Our caterers from Byron supplied an amazing assortment of savoury and sweet delights and plenty made use of our liquor license facilities.The live music added to the atmosphere and we were entertained after lunch by a local comedian.

Thanks to Dawn, our Club patron and Michael, CAQ President, for attending and supporting this occasion. Also thanks to Brooke Paterson, our local Councillor, who supplied a significant amount of funds which enabled us to deliver an occasion to remember. Many thanks to our committee for the hours of meetings and planning and to a cast of Club volunteers who helped put it together both before and on the day.
