Whilst many members have the ability, not many have the drive to compete internationally.

Firstly she competes in the Australian Golf Women’s Singles competition in Newcastle and then Golf’s equivalent of State-of-Origin, the Interstate Shield.

After returning home for a couple of days to change suitcases, Mary heads off to accept her invitation to compete in the 20th Egyptian International Croquet Championships, a 7 day competition held in Cairo, together with 4 other women players from Australia.

As the top ranked Qld womens player, Mary is ranked 5th in Australian Womens Golf croquet with a World Womens ranking of 64. However, this will be no easy competition as 22 of the top 30 women Golf players in the world are Egyptian as are 38 of the top 50 men. No doubt she will encounter many of them in this tournament

I know this will not daunt Mary’s enthusiasm, it will simply be another challenge that she will take on head first like she does with everything else.
