Keen members arrived on a cool winters afternoon for a hit and a feast. With some in their festive dress, we all enjoyed some social croquet before retiring to the warmth of the Clubhouse for some drinks and a feast. It is a pity that the photos don't allow you to sense the aromas eminating from within but it certainly had everyone salivating for what was to come. Roast pork, crackle and apple sauce, duck fat roast potatoes and veg, cauliflower and brocoli mornay was then followed by cheesecake, strawberries and icecream (hard to find plum puddings in July!!). This was all washed down with warm mull wine. Fair to say everyone went home full and happy.
