Whilst some members enjoyed roast Christmas feasts and drinks over the weekend, Gabby and Mary were busy competing in the Queensland Golf Croquet Presidents Medal at Caloundra. Played over 3 days, this is the last chance for many to compete before the National and Interstate competitons in September. With both players making the Championship round, it was a tough gig with every player being on either a 0 or -1 handicap. Both were eliminated in this round, with a difference of either 1 hoop or 3 hoops over the 3 matches each played. In the end, it was 6th and 8th place out of the 16 entries. As usual, a top effort from both.
